That does not work. He did have a daughter named Elizabeth (c1829) (right name and age) but she was with him in 1850 in Haywood apparently unmarried whereas Elizabeth wife of Levi Deyton was already married a few years by this time and living in Yancey in 1850. A good clue is William Wilson (c1830) living with the Deytons in 1860. He might be a younger brother of nephew of Elizabeth Wilson Deyton. I found two potential matches for him in 1850 Yancey: William (c1829) s/o Thomas & Hannah (doesn't work, had no one Elizabeth's age with him in 1840) William (c1832) s/o James W.
