Obituary for Mrs. Leila Roberts Hufford, age 77, of the Green Sea Community
died Sunday afternoon in a local hospital after a lingering illness. Mrs
Hufford was the widow of Mr. Arthur Joseph Hufford Sr. She was the daughter of
the late William Walker Roberts and the late Mallisa Luttie Grainger Roberts.
Mrs. Hufford was a homemaker and a member of the Green Sea Baptist Church.
Survivors include one brother--Mr. H. Tom Roberts of N. Myrtle Beach, S.C. Four
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral
services were held at 2:00 pm Tuesday from the Hardwick Memorial Chapel
officiated by Rev. Kevin Childs. Burial followed in the Green Sea Cemetery
directed by Hardwick Funeral Home of Loris, S.C.
