!NOTES:Parents are David Buchanan and Betty Ann Pittman per his D/C. I attempted to identify this David Buchanan but had no luck, there are several of that name in Yancey in 1850 and 1860. By 1870 only one remained (old enough) but married to someone else with different children.
In 1880 Elizabeth was widowed and listed in Mitchell, oldest child 13, but not found back in 1870.;
