lore. Worked on ranches and as ditchwalker around Winthrop for many
years.
Traveled from OK to WA during Great Depression. Followed oldest son
David who
had found work at Grand Coulee Dam. Made trip in 1927 Ford Model T
sedan.Children Joy,Rose,Ellen and her husband Guy Wyscaver and their
daughter
Betty also made the journey.Late in life married Ruby Morris.While
single lived
in a cabin that straddled the ditch behind the Duck Brand Saloon in
Winthrop
and you could see and hear the water through the floorboards.
