In Jan 1832 court, it was ordered that Thomas Burleson oversee the road in room of James Wilson from the ford of Toe River on Tate’s plantation to J. Murphey’s plantation on Toe River with the following hands, to wit, Jacob Carpenter’s hands, James Moody, Bedford Wiseman, Grant’s hands, John Ollis, Johnston on Davenport’s place, Jonah Wiseman and all the hands on the east side of Toe River on D.
