His children's 1880 entries: Andrew = NC James = VA !FAMILY BIBLE:William and Elizabeth (Bryson) Cathey Family Bible,or perhaps this was his brother James Cathey's family bible. A notation on one page attests that James Sr copied that record in 1832. This is a really old King James Bible using the old style letter S that looked like an F. One page contains births of William and Elizabeth's family. Another page contains the births of William's brother James Cathey's children. Another page contains the deaths of William and James's father and siblings. It seems likely some pages were lost as there are no marriages listed. This record was shared with me by Guy G.
