Alma Louise RichardsonJenkinsAlma Louise Richardson Jenkins, 97, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Ms. Jenkins was born a daughter of the late George Harry Richardson, Sr. and Patty Bell Flowers Richardson in Marion County, SC. She was of the Methodist faith. Ms. Jenkins was a wonderful wife and mother. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Lawrence W. Jenkins; sons, Joseph Nollie Jenkins and Jimmy Lawrence Jenkins; grandson, Chris Blue; and siblings, George H. Jr., Woodrow, Bliss, Buck and Kate. Ms. Jenkins is survived by her children, Sandra (Rodney) Nutter and Patsy (Shelby) Lee; brother, Traywick Richardson; special daughters-in-law, Cathy (Bobby) Crawford and Regina Jenkins; grandchildren, Donna (Kent) Cady, Jamey (Leslie) Lee, Chip (Michele) Hatchell, Brian Hatchell, Scott (Brandy) Nutter, Candace (David) Rast, Lawrence Jenkins, Joshua Crawford and Amber Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Dylan (Sara) Blue, Connor and Addie Lee, Ashlyn, Kyle and Kaylyn Cady, Brayden and Brenden Hatchell, Drew and Bryce Nutter, Katie Thompson and Gracelyn and Phillip Rast; great-great grandchildren, Harper and Sawyer Blue; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Florence Baptist Temple directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Florence National Cemetery.Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
