!NOTES:Burton was listed two houses from his older brother William Davis in 1870. However, he was living with Hazel, widow of Carson Davis. Why? They are not related as far as I can determine. Perhaps Burton's wife was related to Hazel or Carson Davis in some way.
* One other possibility is that the census taker copied it wrong, for Althea's parents were one household away on the other side, and perhaps Burton and she were actually living with them.;
