Mrs. Mary Ann Turner Larrimore Cox, 71, died Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Mullins Nursing Center after an illness.
Mrs. Cox was born June 16, 1939 in Marion County, a daughter of the late Leroy Turner, Sr. and the late Annie Malpass Turner. She retired as a seamstress from Anvil Knitwear and was a member of North Mullins Baptist Church.
Surviving Mrs. Cox are her children, Cathy (Dennis) Johnson of Nichols, S.C., Susanne (Mike) Hughes of Fair Bluff, N.C., Frank (Kaye) Larrimore of Mullins, S.C., and Jean (Keith) Elliott of Mullins, S.C.; her grandchildren, Tracey Snelgrove, Christy Jordan, Ralph Johnson, Nikki Ward, Lesley Hughes, Mason Larrimore, Johnathan Elliott and Emily Elliott; her great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Dustin, Christian, Alexis and Rebekah; two brothers, Mason Malpass of Bolton, N.C. and David C. Turner of Campobello; and all of her friends, family and staff at Mullins Nursing Center.
Mrs. Cox was predeceased by her first husband, Henry Franklin Larrimore, Sr.; her second husband, J.C. Cox; a grandson, Robert Lee Jordan; and a brother, Leroy Turner, Jr.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at McMillan Cemetery, with the Rev. Art Ramsey and the Rev. Danny Kay Price officiating. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Cathy and Dennis Johnson, at 8825 Lake Swamp Rd., Nichols.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mullins Nursing Center Activity Fund, 518 S. Main St., Mullins, SC 29574.
