31 Dec 1846 James Lane and Pherebe Lane his wife show that about 1831 at the February term of the Court of Equity in Marion Dist James Bryant, the deft, obtained letters of guardianship of the person and estate of the oratrix, when a minor of tender years, who was entitled to a distributive share of the estate of her deceased father Joseph Thomas of Marion District. Oratrix has grown up and been married for some years and has resided in Barnwell District. Defendant is indebted to the complainant in the sum of $233.55.
