Macksfield's granddaughter, Sarah Henslee Thompson, married William Williford. This gives the Willifords who come from David's grandson, David Payne who married Amanda Williford, a double Henslee connection. This is proven in Franklin Co. GA Deed Book O, p. 95, rec. 11 Dec 1802, when Wm. Williford gave John (Red Bank) Payne power of attorney to go to Caswell Co. and collect his wife Sarah's share of the estate inherited from her grandfather, Macksfield.
